MRCGP AKT
The AKT (Applied Knowledge Test) is one of the three components of the MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners) postgraduate medical qualification. It is a vital part of GP training in the UK, testing problem solving and the application of knowledge.

MRCGP RCA
The RCA (Recorded Consultation Assessment) is one of the three components of the MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners) postgraduate medical qualification. Through submitted recorded consultations, professionals will be tested on different aspects of General Practice including clinical, practical, professional skills, and communication.

MSRA
The Multi-Specialty Recruitment Assessment (MSRA or SRA) is a computer-based assessment and is part of the application for postgraduate medical specialty training in the UK. You are required to pass the MRSA exam if you are training in General Practice, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Radiology, or other fields.

PLAB Exams
Doctors who qualified from overseas medical schools are required to take the Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB) exam. You will need to pass the PLAB exam before you can practice in the UK if you qualified outside of the EEA as a doctor.

UKMLA Assesment
The UKMLA (UK Medical Licencing Assessment) will replace PLAB (Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board) exam in 2024. This is an essential assessment for any overseas doctors wishing to practice medicine in the UK from 2024. It will be necessary for GMC registration.

Medical School
